Rotary District 5890, Houston, Texas

District 5890 consists of 56 Rotary Clubs with some 3600 members located in and around Houston, Texas, USA.

District 5890 covers the Texas counties of Austin, Brazoria, Colorado, Fort Bend, Harris, Matagorda, Waller, Washington, and Wharton.

The District coordinates many activities for member clubs during the year, including special social outings to Aeros, Astros, and Rockets games, as well as a Rotary Night at the Houston Rodeo. These events are in addition to District Rotary functions such as the District Assembly, which is a training session for club leaders, and the District Conference held toward the end of the Rotary Year.
